THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO PREVENT AT-RISK AND DISADVANTAGED INNER-CITY CHILDREN FROM BECOMING INVOLVED IN STREET GANGS, CRIME, DRUG USE AND VICTIMIZATION BY PROVIDING AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP DISCIPLINE, SELF-ESTEEM AND POSITIVE MORAL VALUES THROUGH WHOLESOME COMPETITION VIA NUMEROUS SPORTS AND ACTIVITIES AND THROUGH BUILDING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN POLICE OFFICERS, THE YOUTH PARTICIPANTS AND THEIR FAMILIES, AND THE GREATER OMAHA COMMUNITY.

YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES AIMED AT ECONCOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED AND AT-RISK YOUTH IN THE GREATER OMAHA, NEBRASKA AREA. THE PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED FREE TO YOUTH PARTICIPANTS AND INCLUDE BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL, BASKETBALL, CROSSFIT, EDUCATION AND OUTREACH, FLAG FOOTBALL, SOCCER AND TRAIL AND MOUNTAIN BIKE. THE PROGRAMS ARE ADMINISTERED BY ACTIVE AND RETIRED POLICE OFFICERS, MANY OF WHOM VOLUNTEER AS COACHES FOR THE YOUTH SPORTS TEAMS, AND OTHER VOLUNTEERS FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
