COMMITMENT TO THE COMMUNITY IS AT THE CORE OF ROBINSON'S MISSION. IN 2014, ROBINSON DEDICATED MORE THAN $4.4 MILLION TO COMMUNITY BENEFIT PROGRAMS: - CHARITY CARE = $1.2 MILLION - MEDICAID SHORTFALL = $3.2 MILLION - COMMUNITY HEALTH IMPROVEMENT SERVICES, PROGRAMS AND SUPPORT = $0.9 MILLION - HOSPITAL CARE ASSURANCE PROGRAM (HCAP) RECEIPTS = ($1.0 MILLION). COMMUNITY BENEFIT FOR 2014 TOTALED $4.4 MILLION. ROBINSON IS PORTAGE COUNTY'S SECOND LARGEST EMPLOYER AND PROVIDES WORK DIRECTLY FOR MORE THAN 1,000 EMPLOYEES AND PHYSICIANS. ROBINSON IS PROUD TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE HEALTH OF THE CITIZENS WITHIN ITS COMMUNITY AND TO BE AN ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTOR TO THE REGION.
