SPOKEN REVOLUTIONS: ADVENTURE OPENS A WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY FOR SELF-DISCOVERY AND CONFIDENCE BUILDING.SUMMER EXPERIENCE: YOUTH EXPLORING UNTOLD HISTORY AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN CLASSROOM SETTINGS AND VIA CYCLING TOURS THROUGHOUT REGIONS OF THE UNITED STATES. IN THE SUMMER OF 2022, THE PHYSICAL CYCLING TOUR WAS FROM KENTUCKY TO ILLINOIS USING THE THEME OF THE GREAT MIGRATION, THE PERIOD WHEN UP TO 6 MILLION BLACK AMERICANS MIGRATED OUT OF THE SOUTHERN STATES.EXCURSIONS: YOUTH EXPLORING UNTOLD HISTORY AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN CLASSROOM SETTINGS AND VIA CYCLING TOURS THROUGHOUT REGIONS OF THE NORTH CAROLINA. IN THE FALL OF 2022, YOUTH TRAVELED TO CHARLOTTE, NC AND TOURED THE AREA AND MURALS DEDICATED TO LEADERS INSTRUMENTAL IN THE BLACK AMERICAN COMMUNITY.
TYMBR WOLVES (TRIANGLE YOUTH MOUNTAIN BIKE RIDING)IS A MOUNTAIN BIKING TEAM IN THE NORTH CAROLINA INTERSCHOLASTIC CYCLING LEAGUE PARTICIPATING IN PRACTICES AND FIVE RACES PER SPRING SEASON. POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT IS OUR GOAL. THROUGH THESE CYCLING OPPORTUNITIES YOUTH TRAVEL THE STATE OF NC AND HAVE OFF-ROAD ADVENTURES WITH THE OPTION TO RACE COMPETITIVELY.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH & EDUCATION: LETS RIDE! IS UP TO FOUR, LOW-COMMITMENT, ONE DAY, COMMUNITY BIKE RIDE EVENTS (MARCH, MAY, AUG, OCT) TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY HEALTH AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. EACH RIDE TAKES PLACE IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION IN THE TRIANGLE REGION AND IS OPEN TO ALL RIDERS. THERE WERE THREE LET'S RIDE! EVENTS IN 2022.
