THE MISSION OF NEIGHBORHOOD CHARTER SCHOOLS IS TO PROVIDE CHILDREN WITH NEW EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH A RIGOROUS, COMPREHENSIVE K-8 PROGRAM THAT CULTIVATES THE INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF EACH CHILD. OUR SCHOOL IS AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY THAT SERVES HIGH-FUNCTIONING CHILDREN ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM ALONG WITH THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD PEERS. OUR STUDENTS WILL BECOME INDEPENDENT LEARNERS AND CRITICAL THINKERS, WILL ACQUIRE THE ACADEMIC SKILLS THEY NEED TO SUCCEED IN COLLEGE PREPARATORY HIGH SCHOOLS AND WILL EXHIBIT THE SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL SKILLS THAT WILL ALLOW THEM TO REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.

GENERAL EDUCATION - EXPENSES DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH ENHANCING OUR CURRENT CURRICULUM TO PROVIDE DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS WITH NEW EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH A RIGOROUS, COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM. WE SERVED 885 STUDENTS IN KINDERGARTEN-8TH GRADE DURING THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR.


SPECIAL EDUCATION - EXPENSES DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH ENHANCING OUR CURRENT CURRICULUM FOR SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS. HIRED CONSULTANTS TO ADD TO OUR PROGRAM'S SUCCESS BY ASSISTING US WITH DESIGNING PROGRAMS THAT WOULD MEET THE CLINICAL, TRAINING, AND RESEARCH NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS (ASD). WE SERVED 112.587 STUDENTS IN THE ASD PROGRAM AND 202.344 OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS DURING THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR.
