THE ORGANIZATION ADDED A MULTI-USE PATH TO CONNECT BOBBY JONES PATH TO MEMORIAL PARK SIDEWALKS; INSTALLED SPECIAL PROJECTS IN THE PARK, INCLUDING DEBBIE'S PLACE; WORKED WITH TREES ATLANTA TO ADD OVER 250 NATIVE TREES AND SHRUBS; EMBARKED ON "THE CORNERSTONE PROJECT" TO IMPROVE THE ENTRANCES TO THE PARK.
THE ORGANIZATION WAS IN A FISCAL SPONSORSHIP RELATIONSHIP TO SUPPORT THE HAYNES MANOR RECITAL HALL PROJECT. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT IS TO RENOVATE THE EXISTING BUILDING, CONVERTING IT INTO A RECITAL HALL AND COMMUNITY/EDUCATION SPACE AND TO ENHANCE THE EXISTING GREENSPACE.
THE ORGANIZATION WORKED WITH MEMORIAL PARK CIVIC ASSOCIATION TO SUPPLY THE PARK WITH DOG WASTE BAGS. PARTNERED WITH TREES ATLANTA AND CHATTAHOOCHEE RIVERKEEPER TO HOLD EDUCATIONAL EVENTS AND VOLUNTEER WORK DAYS IN THE PARK INCLUDING THE REMOVAL OF INVASIVE SPECIES & TRASH FROM PEACHTREE CREEK.
