MENA: IWPR OPERATED PROGRAMS FOCUSING ON TRAINING, MENTORING AND PROVIDING ONGOING SUPPORT TO JOURNALISTS AND CIVIL SOCIETY ACTIVISTS WORKING IN CONFLICT ZONES. THE DIGITAL SECURITY PROGRAM HELPS ENSURE THAT REPORTERS AND ACTIVISTS ARE ABLE TO ADVANCE THEIR WORK BY USING SOCIAL MEDIA SAFELY AND BY PREVENTING OUTSIDE ACCESS TO THEIR INFORMATION, DATA OR NETWORKS BY THOSE WHO THREATEN THEM.
