THE MISSION OF THE COVAM CDC IS TO CREATE AN IMPROVED SYSTEM OF SERVICES AND SUPPORTS FOR ALL FAMILIES WHO LIVE IN THE COVAM COMMUNITY, USING THE HOUSING ENVIRONMENT NOT ONLY TO PROVIDE SHELTER, BUT ALSO TO SERVE AS A SPRINGBOARD TO OPPORTUNITY AND INDEPENDENCE FOR LOW-INCOME FAMILIES. THE COVAM COMMUNITY IS COMPOSED OF THE FOLLOWING AFFORDABLE HOUSING SITES IN ST. LOUIS CITY: CARR SQUARE, O'FALLON PLACE, MURPHY PARK, THE CAHILL HOUSE, AND THE BREWERY APARTMENTS.
