THE WALDO AREA BUSINESS ASSOCIATION (WABA) HAS BEEN REPRESENTING THE INTERESTS OF THE WALDO BUSINESS COMMUNITY SINCE 1965. WABA IS ENGAGED BY THE WALDO COMMUNITY IMPROVEMNT DISTRICT TO SUPPORT ITS EFFORTS OF PROMOTION, MARKETING,AND SECURITY

COMMUNITY BUILDING THROUGH LUNCHEONS AND NETWORKING EVENTS, COMMITTEE MEETINGS, ETC. NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS VARIES 20 PER COMMITTEE (6 COMMITTEES) TO OVER 50 ATTENDEES AT MONTHLY EVENTS. EFFORTS TO INCREASE COMUNICATION, DECREASE CRIME, IMPROVE COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE AND STABILITY.
ANNUAL FALL AND SPRING FESTIVAL BRINGS THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER FOR DAY-LONG EVENT THAT PROMOTES THE AREA, PROVIDES INTERACTRIVE ACTIVITES FOR THE ATTENDEES, ACTIVATES VOLUNTEERS, AND STRENGTHENS COMMUNITY PRIDE AND PARTNERSHIP THROUGH ACTIVE PARTCIPATION.
COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK INCLUDING PREPARATION OF NEWLETTERS, WEBSITES, AND OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA. NETWORK OF 300+ BUSINESSES, NON-PROFITS, AND NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS, WORKING TOGETHER ON COMMUNITY IMPROVEMNTS.
