THE ORGANIZATION IS CURRENTLY DEVELOPING STATE OF THE ART, DIGITIZED CURRICULUM TO TAKE ITS EFFORTS TO SCALE NATIONWIDE. THE DIGITIZED CURRICULUM WILL BE LOWER COST, AND CAN BE UPDATED, REVISED, AND SUSTAINED MORE EFFICIENTLY THAN THE TRADITIONAL ROCK LIVE PROGRAM. ROCK DIGI IS A BETTER MATCH WITH HOW SCHOOLS ARE PURCHASING AND IMPLEMENTING GUIDANCE CURRICULUM THUS MODERNIZING THE ROCK PROGRAM. THE ORGANIZATION IS WORKING WITH A WIDE ARRAY OF CONTRACTORS WITH SPECIALIZED SKILLS INCLUDING SCHOOL COUNSELORS, TEACHERS, WHITE BOARD ANIMATORS, FILMAKERS, AND COMPUTER ENGINEERS. ONCE TESTED AND READY FOR DISTRIBUTION IT WILL HELP MORE CHILDREN, TEACHERS AND FAMILIES FAR INTO THE FUTURE.
ROCK IN PREVENTION PROVIDES LOCAL, STATE, REGIONAL AND NATIONAL CONFERENCES, EITHER FACE TO FACE, IN-PERSON OR WEBINARS, WITH INFORMATION ON THE UTILIZATION OF THE NEW ROCK DIGI SOFTWARE FOR TEACHERS AND COUNSELORS. EVALUATION AND FEEDBACK IS GATHERED FROM END USERS TO MAKE PROGRAM IMPROVEMENTS. ROCK DIGI TEACHES STUDENTS SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING SEL AND LIFE SKILLS FOR SUCCESS. THE CURRICULUM USES SONGS AS TEACHING TOOLS, WHITEBOARD ANIMATION, LYRIC MUSIC VIDEOS, DISCUSSION QUESTIONS, DRILL DOWN ACTIVITIES TO DRIVE UNDERSTANDING AND ALLOW FOR DIFFERENTIATION. A SCHOOL HOME PARTNERSHIP IS ALSO INCLUDED IN EACH LESSON TO HELP INCREASE PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT IN THEIR CHILD'S EDUCATION.
OVER THE PAST 32 YEARS, ROCK IN PREVENTION HAS BEEN VERY DELIBERATE IN ITS EFFORTS TO KEEP COSTS AS LOW AS POSSIBLE TO SCHOOLS AND YOUTH SERVING AGENCIES AND TO PROVIDE PROGRAM SUSTAINABLITY. ROCK WORKS DILIGENTLY TO RAISE FUNDS AND WIN GRANTS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF STUDENTS, TEACHERS, AND FAMILIES.ROCK IS A RESPONSIBLE STEWARD OF ITS FINANCES AND HAS A BALANCED, DIVERSIFIED INVESTMENT POLICY STATEMENT AND CONDUCTS QUARTERLY INVESTMENT MEETINGS.
