ALUMNI EXPENSES AND SALARIES-FUND OTHER SMALL EVENTS FOR TARGETED GROUPS OF ALUMNI, ASSIST PROGRAMS AND DEPARTMENTS IN ALUMNI OUTREACH, PROVIDE SMALLER OPPORTUNITIES FOR CURRENT STUDENTS AND ALUMNI TO INTERACT. INCLUDES ALL OTHER PROGRAM EXPENSES NOT LISTED BELOW. APPROXIMATELY 550 STUDENTS AND ALUMNI IN VARIOUS EVENTS. HE LANDSCAPE FOR ALUMNI EVENTS IN 2020 REMAINED UNCHANGED FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR TO THE CONTINUING PANDEMIC. ALUMNI WERE ENGAGED THROUGH EVENTS THAT WERE DELIVERED VIRTUALLY.
MINNESOTA STUDENT/ALUMNI EVENTS-THE ASSOCIATION HELPS ORGANIZE EVENTS IN THE STATE OF MINNESOTA FOR ALUMNI AND STUDENTS TO ENCOURAGE NETWORKING AND CONTINUED CONNECTION TO SCSU, EVENTS INCLUDE BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES, ALUMNI AWARDS RECOGNITON AT AN EVENING EVENT AS WELL AS DURING A MEN'S HOCKEY GAME, AND COMMENCEMENT EVENTS. HOMECOMING ACTIVITIES WERE OPEN TO THE METROPOLITAN COMMUNITY AT LARGE WHICH NUMBERS ALMOST 200,000. AWARDS AND COMMENCEMENT EVENTS INCLUDED OVER 1,000 PRIOR TO PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS.
