PIANO CONTESTS PROMOTED EXCELLENCE IN PIANO SKILLS FOR YOUNG STUDENTS AND MUSIC TEACHERS. NUMEROUS PIANO CONTESTS WERE HELD DURING THE YEAR BRINGING TOGETHER 1962 STUDENTS AND 277 TEACHERS.
OTHER PROGRAMS - SEMINARS, PUBLICATIONS, AND OTHER MUSIC EDUCATION ACTIVITIES
PIANO EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS - EXAM EVENTS WERE OFFERED TO TEST AND IMPROVE SKILLS RELATING TO KEYBOARD SKILLS, SIGHTPLAYING, PIANO, AND MUSIC THEORY. 294 TEACHERS AND 2489 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THESE EXAM EVENTS.
THE MN MUSIC TEACHERS ANNUAL CONVENTION PROMOTES PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE AMONG TEACHERS IN THE STATE. 23 VARIOUS BREAK-OUT SESSIONS WERE OFFERED DURING THE CONVENTION AND 93 TEACHERS ATTENDED THE EVENT.
