THE MINNESOTA HUNTER & JUMPER ASSOCIATION'S PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT THE HUNTER/JUMPER SPORT IN THE STATE OF MINNESOTA. OUR GOALS ARE TO FOSTER A COMMUNITY OF HUNTER/JUMPER ENTHUSIASTS, STRENGTHEN LOCAL COMPETITION AT ALL LEVELS, REPRESENT OUR MEMBERS' INTEREST AT THE ZONE AND NATIONAL LEVELS, AND BUILD A HEALTHY FUTURE FOR THE HUNTER/JUMPER SPORT IN MINNESOTA THROUGH EDUCATION, PARTICIPATION, AND PROMOTION.

2021 MINNESOTA HARVEST HORSE SHOW: THE MINNESOTA HARVEST HORSE SHOW IS A UNITED STATES EQUESTRIAN FEDERATION NATIONAL 'A' RATED EQUESTRIAN COMPETITION THAT SHOWCASES THE EQUESTRIAN SPORT IN THE DISCIPLINES OF HUNTERS, JUMPERS, AND EQUITATION. THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE SHOW WAS A GRAND PRIX LEVEL SHOW JUMPING CLASS. THIS EVENT HAS A FOLLOWING OF FANS WHO ATTEND EVER YEAR AND HAS BEEN IN EXISTENCE FOR 40 YEARS. THIS IS AN EVENT WHERE SPECTATORS HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE THE HORSES IN THE RING, VISIT THEM IN THE BARN AFTERWARDS, AND TALK TO LOCAL AND REGIONAL RIDERS.
YEAR END AWARDS DISTRIBUTION:MEMBERS OF THE MHJA PARTICIPATE IN A YEAR END AWARDS PROGRAM THAT REWARDS THEIR PARTICIPATION, SPORTSMANSHIP AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS FROM THE YEAR. IT IS THROUGH THIS YEAR LONG POINTS-BASED AWARD PROGRAM THAT OUR MEMBERS CONTINUE TO PARTICIPATE, LEARN, COMPETE, AND ENJOY THE EQUESTRIAN SPORT.
NEWSLETTER AND WEBSITE: MHJA KEEPS ITS MEMBERS INFORMED BY MAINTAINING AND FUNDING THE WEBSITE OF WWW.MHJA6.ORG. OUR WEBSITE INFORMS MEMBERS AND THE EQUESTRIAN COMMUNITY AT LARGE OF UPCOMING EVENTS AND NEWS OF THE ASSOCIATION. WE PUBLISHED FOUR ISSUES OF MHJA NEWSLETTER, INFORMING MEMBERS OF HORSE SHOWS, HORSE HEALTH AND OTHER NEWS OF INTEREST.
