FOUNDED IN 1906, FAIRVIEW SERVES THE TWELVE-COUNTY MINNEAPOLIS/ST. AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2021, FAIRVIEW HAS ADMINISTERED MORE THAN 540,000 DOSES TO PATIENTS IN THE SYSTEM. A REMARKABLE PROGRAM CALLED THE MINNESOTA IMMUNIZATION NETWORK INITIATIVE (MINI), A COLLABORATION LED BY FAIRVIEW AND SUPPORTED BY OVER 120 COMMUNITY PARTNERS, WORKS TO REDUCE BARRIERS TO INFLUENZA VACCINATIONS FOR COMMUNITIES EXPERIENCING DISPARITIES. MINI CLINICS HAVE EXPANDED THEIR REACH TO INCLUDE OTHER VACCINATIONS SUCH AS HEPATITIS A, BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING AND CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH EDUCATION, FREE DENTAL VARNISH TREATMENTS AND ORAL HEALTH EDUCATION.
