PROGRAMS AND PRESENTATIONS-THE PROGRAMS AND PRESENTATIONS SERVICE AREA OF THE SHRINE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSISTING INDIVIDUAL PILGRIMS AND PILGRIMAGE TOURS BY PROVIDING PILGRIMS WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR CATECHESIS, INCLUDING RECEIVING THE SACRAMENTS OF HOLY COMMUNION AND CONFESSION. THE PROGRAMS AND PRESENTATIONS SERVICE AREA STRIVES TO FULFILL THE MISSION OF THE SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE BY HELPING SERVE THE SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF THOSE WHO SUFFER POVERTY IN BODY AND SOUL. IT IS A PLACE OF CEASELESS PRAYER FOR THE CORPORAL AND SPIRITUAL WELFARE OF GOD'S CHILDREN, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN MOST NEED. THE SHRINE WELCOMES ABOUT 80,000 PILGRIMS PER YEAR, FOR DAY PILGRIMAGES, SHRINE EVENTS, AND SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS.
RESTAURANT-THE MISSION OF CULINA MARIANA IS TO PROVIDE PHYSICAL SUSTENANCE TO THE PILGRIMS OF THE SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE. THE RESTAURANT SERVES APPROXIMATELY 23,000 GUESTS ANNUALLY.
GIFT SHOP-THE SHRINE GIFT SHOP PROVIDES ALL PILGRIMS WITH RELIGIOUS BOOKS AND GIFTS AS A SOURCE OF BOTH SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT AND REMEMBRANCE OF THEIR PILGRIMAGE TO THE SHRINE. THE GIFT SHOP STAFF ASSISTS IN THE EVANGELIZATION MISSION OF THE SHRINE BY CATECHIZING THE PILGRIMS ON THE TEACHINGS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH THOUGH THE ANSWERS PROVIDED TO QUESTIONS RECEIVED ON A DAILY BASIS ABOUT OUR FAITH. THE GIFT SHOP SERVES APPROXIMATELY 12,000 PEOPLE ANNUALLY.
