WAFCA REPRESENTS 50 CHILD AND FAMILY SERVING AGENCIES AND LEADERS IN THE FIELD AND ADVOCATES FOR MEMBERS AND THE MORE THAN 200,000 INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES THAT THEY SERVE EACH YEAR. OUR MEMBER AGENCIES PROVIDE A WIDE ARRAY OF PREVENTION AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES SUCH AS FOSTER CARE, IN-HOME SUPPORT, COUNSELING, AND MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT.THE ASSOCIATION ORGANIZES TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR MEMBERS AND RELATED PROFESSIONAL GROUPS. DURING THE YEAR THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDED TWO MEMBER INFORMATIONAL CONFERENCES AND MORE THAN TWENTY TRAINING SESSIONS FOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS. WAFCA CONNECTS MEMBER AGENCY STAFF THROUGH COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE. THE WAFCA TEAM FIELDS TECHNICAL QUESTIONS AND HELPS MEMBERS NAVIGATE THROUGH COMPLEX REGULATORY ENVIRONMENTS.
