FREEDOM FREDOM GROWERS WORKS WITH YOUTH REGARDING THE APPROPRIATE MAINTENANCE OF AN URBAN GARDEN. DURING 2021 HAD 300-375 YOUTH AND ADULT PARTICIPANTS.


RIVERWISE DETROIT MAGAZINE IS A COMMUNITY BASED MAGAZINE WORKING TO CREATE MEDIA THAT REFLECTS LOCAL ACTIVISM AND THE NEW WORK BEING DONE IN AND AROUND DETROIT. THEY HAVE A 16 MEMBER COLLECTIVE AND HAVE PRODUCED 8000 COPIES, BOOKS, AND TEES.


BIRWOOD HOUSE IS ESTABLISHED TO NURTURE LOCAL LEADERSHIP TO ORGANIZE AND GOVERN IT,S COMMUNITY. BIRWOOD HOUSE HAS ENGAGED COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS TO BUILD ANS MAINTAIN IT'S NEIGHBORHOOD. SUMMER PROGRAM HELD MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS. DURING 2018 200-250 ATTENDEES PARTICIPATED,
