MISSION: THE MICHIGAN WOMEN'S HALL OF FAME PROMOTES THE EQUALITY OF WOMEN BY HONORING THE HISTORY AND CELEBRATING THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF MICHIGAN WOMEN. VISION: WE ENVISION A MORE EQUITABLE SOCIETY WHERE WOMEN AND GIRLS ARE EMPOWERED AND SUPPORTED TO REALIZE THEIR POTENTIAL.

MUSEUM - TO DEVELOP AND DISPLAY EXHIBITS DEPICTING THE ROLE MICHIGAN WOMEN HAVE PLAYED AND CONTINUE TO PLAY IN CREATING OUR SOCIETY. THE HALL OF FAME RECOGNIZES ACHIEVEMENTS OF MICHIGAN WOMEN, CONTEMPORARILY AND HISTORICALLY. THE MUSEUM WAS VISITED BY SOME 2,500 PEOPLE DURING THE YEAR. A WEB SITE IS MAINTAINED.
COMMUNITY AND MEMBER EDUCATION - THE ASSOCIATION MAINTAINS A SPEAKER'S BUREAU TO PROVIDE SPEAKERS TO VARIOUS COMMUNITY GROUPS THROUGHOUT THE STATE. THREE PUBLICATIONS AND TWO QUARTERLY NEWSLETERS ABOUT MICHIGAN WOMEN HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED. THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS SEVERAL EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS ANNUALLY FOCUSED ON WOMEN'S HISTORY. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO COOPERATES WITH OTHER COMMUNITY AGENCIES IN SPONSORING EVENTS. TEN INDUCTEES WERE ADDED TO TOTAL 308 INDUCTEES OF MICHIGAN WOMEN OF ALL AGES.
