COLLABORATIONS: MUCH OF OUR TEAM'S TIME AND EFFORTS ARE SPENT COLLABORATING WITH OTHER COMPANIES WHO APPROACH HUMANS OF ST. LOUIS FOR STORYTELLING SERVICES. IN EXCHANGE FOR PAYMENT, WE PARTNER TO PRODUCE ORIGINAL CREATIVE CONTENT SPECIFIC TO A PARTICULAR THEME SUCH AS HEALTH, EQUITY, NEIGHBORHOOD, OR THE ARTS. IN THE PAST, WE'VE DONE INTERVIEWS AND PHOTOGRAPHS IN OUR SIGNATURE STYLE FOR BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF EASTERN MISSOURI, EXPLORE ST. LOUIS, FOREST PARK FOREVER, FORWARD THROUGH FERGUSON, GENERATE HEALTH, ST. LOUIS CITY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, ST. LOUIS COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION, AND ST. LOUIS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION & INVEST STL. CONTENT POSTS TO OUR SOCIAL MEDIA FOLLOWING OF 135,000+ VIEWERS ON FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM.


PRESENTATIONS: OUR LEAD STORYTELLER GIVES PRESENTATIONS AROUND THE STATE ABOUT THE ART OF STORYTELLING AT THE INTERSECTION OF SOCIAL WORK AND PUBLIC HEALTH. SHE TEACHES AUDIENCES HOW TO ASK BETTER QUESTIONS, INVITE PEOPLE TO TELL THEIR STORIES, CONDUCT INTERVIEWS, PHOTOGRAPH STRANGERS, EDIT CONTENT, POST TO SOCIAL MEDIA, MODERATE, AND MARKET. SHE TALKS ABOUT HOW HUMANS OF ST. LOUIS BEGAN AS AN ART PROJECT BASED ON HUMANS OF NEW YORK AND MORPHED INTO A NONPROFIT WITH A TEAM OF 25 THAT HELPED PRODUCE THEIR FIRST SELF-PUBLICATION FEATURING OVER 400 STORIES.


EXHIBITIONS: IN ORDER TO PROMOTE A LONGER LIFE SPAN AND PLAY TIME FOR THE CREATIVE CONTENT, WE ALSO PRINT THE PORTRAITS, FRAME THEM, AND ADD THE STORIES' QUOTES TO THE SIDE IN ORDER TO FILL COMMUNITY SPACES WITH GALLERY SHOWS OF THE WORK. PREVIOUSLY, WE'VE DISPLAYED WORK AT UNIVERSITIES, HIGH SCHOOLS, LIBRARIES, CHURCHES, ART GALLERIES, BUSINESSES, AND PEOPLE'S HOMES. CURRENTLY, WE HAVE SHOWS ON DISPLAY FOR THE COMMUNITY BUILDERS NETWORK OF METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS, WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY IN ST. LOUIS, AND SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY. SOMETIMES EXHIBITIONS TRAVEL TO MULTIPLE LOCATIONS. OTHER TIMES, VIEWERS PURCHASE THE WORK TO DISPLAY AT THEIR HOMES OR WORK OR GIFT TO SOMEONE.
