THE INDIANA FIRE CHIEFS ASSOCIATION PROMOTES EXCELLENCE IN FIRE AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES BY PROVIDING A FORUM FOR NETWORKING, INFORMATION SHARING, AND COOPERATIVE OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH EDUCATIONAL, LEGISLATIVE, AND TECHNICAL MEANS.

CONDUCTED THE ANNUAL INDIANA EMERGENCY RESPONSE CONFERENCE, PROVIDING MORE THAN 100 EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS OVER FOUR DAYS AND SERVING OVER 500 EMERGENCY RESPONDERS FROM FIRE SERVICES AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ENTITIES FROM THROUGHOUT THE STATE.


PROVIDED TIMELY INFORMATION REGARDING THE BEST PRACTICES, TECHNICAL ISSUES, LEGISLATIVE MATTERS, AND VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES DEEMED IMPORTANT TO MEMBERS BY MEANS OF DIRECT, BI-WEEKLY NEWSLETTER EMAILS AND POSTINGS TO THE IFCA WEBSITE.


CONDUCTED OTHER EDUCATIONAL AND REGIONAL NETWORKING SESSIONS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE STATE. ARRANGED AND SUPPORTED REGULAR MEETINGS FOR SPECIALIZED SECTIONS WITHIN THE ASSOCIATION TO ADDRESS ISSUES IMPACTING THEIR DISCIPLINES. THESE INCLUDED PUBLIC SAFETY EDUCATORS, EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES, AND AVIATION AND TECHNICAL RESCUE SECTIONS.
