THE HUNTINGTON BEACH LIONS FOUNDATION ("HBHLC") IS A MEMBER OF THE LIONS DISTRICT 4-L4, LIONS MULTIPLE DISTRICT 4 AND LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL. WE WERE CHARTERED IN 1938 AND HAVE SINCE SPONSORED THREE ADDITIONAL LIONS CLUBS. WE ARE ONE OF 35 CLUBS IN DISTRICT 4-L4, OF WHICH ORANGE COUNTY IS MAJOR PART.OUR MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES MEN AND WOMEN WHO SHARE A COMMON COMMITMENT TO HUMANITARIAN SERVICE. A DIVERSE GROUP FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE, OUR MEMBERS SUPPORT A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS THAT ARE COMMITTED TO SOLVING LOCAL AND GLOBAL HEALTH AND SOCIAL PROBLEMS. MEMBERS TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN HELPING MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF PEOPLE IN NEED.THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, HBHLC HAS A NUMBER OF FUNDRAISERS, THE LARGEST BEING ITS ANNUAL ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT CRABFEST CELEBRATION. WE ARE ALSO ACTIVE WITH SERVICE PROJECTS SUCH AS PROVING EYE HEALTH CARE FOR NEEDY STUDENTS IN THE OCEAN VIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT AND OFFERING MAN-POWER FOR PANCAKE BREAKFAST EVENTS FOR A NUMBER OF ORGANIZATIONS IN TOWN.
