HOOSIER BURN CAMP IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO PROVIDING LIFE- CHANGING EXPERIENCES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WHO HAVE SUFFERED THE PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL TRAUMA ASSOCIATED WITH SEVERE BURN INJURY.

PROVIDE A WEEK LONG CAMP IN A PRIVATE NONJUDGMENTAL ENVIRONMENT FOR JUVENILE BURN SURVIVORS THAT EITHER RESIDE IN INDIANA OR WERE TREATED IN INDIANA. A COPING PROGRAM FOR BURN VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO DEAL WITH THE TRAUMA AND EXPENSE OF BURN INJURIES AS WELL AS A SURROGATE SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR INFANTS TO CHILDREN AGE EIGHT WAS DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED. BAND AND SKIT PERFORMANCES WERE ALSO PERFORMED TO EDUCATE ELEMENTARY AGE STUDENTS ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF FIRE SAFETY.
