THERE WERE 500 RESIDENT ADDICTS IN THE PROGRAM DURING 2020, 148 OF WHICH ENTERED PRIOR TO 2020. 146 RESIDENTS GRADUATED FROM THE 6 MONTH PROGRAM WHILE 170 LEFT BEFORE COMPLETING THE SIX MONTH PROGRAM, LEAVING 146 RESIDENTS AS OF 12/31/20. ALL RESIDENTS ARE TAUGHT THAT GOD CAN HELP THEM OVERCOME THEIR ADDICTIONS AND THAT WORK ETHICS CAN HELP THEM MAINTAIN THEIR NEW LIFESTYLE.
RESIDENTS ARE ALSO GIVEN VOCATIONAL TRAINING AS PART OF THEIR RECOVERY PROCESS TO HELP THEM BECOME PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMUNITY AND MAINTAIN THEIR SOBRIETY. ONE TYPE OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING THEY RECEIVE IS SCREENPRINTING. VARIOUS BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS IN THE AREA BUY T-SHIRTS, CAPS, ETS. MADE BY THE RESIDENTS.
ANOTHER TYPE OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING IS LANDSCAPING. RESIDENTS MOW AND TRIM LAWNS, PLANT TREES & SHRUBS, ETC. FOR INDIVIDUALS AND BUSINESSES IN THE AREA.
