THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS ESTABLISHING, MAINTAINING, ENDOWING AND CARRYING ON IN THE GENERAL COMMUNITIES OF MINNEAPOLIS AND ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA, PROGRAMS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIAL GIVING FOR BENEVOLENCES AND MISSION PROGRAMS LOCALLY AND ACROSS THE UNITED STATES FOR THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS: FRANCISCAN BROTHERS OF PEACE, INC.; PEOPLE OF PRAISE MINNESOTA, INC.; CHRISTIANS IN COMMERCE, INC., AND OTHER AUXILIARY ORGANIZATIONS AFFILIATED WITH SUCH SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION WILL AID, ASSIST, AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE SUPPORT OF CAREFULLY SELECTED SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES, CHURCHES AND CHURCH SPONSORED ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE EXEMPT FROM FEDERAL INCOME TAXES UNDER SECTION 501(A) OF THE CODE, AND ARE DESCRIBED IN SECTIONS 170(C)(2) AND 501(C)(3) OF THE CODE, THAT EMBRACE THE CATHOLIC FAITH IN THEIR TRADITIONS AND PRACTICES, PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE AND RELIEF FOR HUMAN SUFFERING IN MINNESOTA, THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND AROUND THE WORLD, ALL OF WHICH ARE COLLECTIVELY REFERRED TO AS THE "CLASS SUPPORTED ORGANIZATIONS".
