ITEMS ARE DISTRIBUTED FREE OF CHARGE OR GREATLY DISCOUNTED. INTEREST FREE LOANS ARE ALSO PROVIDED. ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FOR EXEMPT PURPOSES OF CHARITY.

HELPING HANDS DISTRIBUTED FOOD FREE OF CHARGE OR AT COST TO OVER 550 NEEDY FAMILIES. WE SERVE UP TO 80 FAMILIES EACH WEEK. DURING THE HOLIDAYS WE SERVE OVER 500 FAMILIES. WE PROVIDE FOOD FOR LESS THAN 50 % ON AVERAGE OF THE RETAIL COSTS TO OUR CLIENTS. WE ESTIMATE THAT THE TOTAL SAVINGS TO OUR MEMBER FAMILIES IS GREATER THAN $1,000,000 EACH YEAR.
HELPING HANDS RECLAIMS FOOD FROM PASSOVER HOTEL PROGRAMS AND OTHER CATERED EVENTS. WE RECEIVED AND DISTRIBUTED OVER $40,000 OF FOOD WHICH WAS DISTRIBUTED TO THE NEEDY AND OTHER NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.
HELPING HANDS PROVIDES UNCOLATERALIZED INTEREST FREE LOANS TO MIAMI-DADE COUNTY RESIDENTS WITH 2 APPROVED CO-SIGNERS.
