HEART OF TUCSON RESCUES HORSES FROM ABUSIVE AND NEGLECTFUL SITUATIONS. THEY ARE PROVIDED ALL NECESSARY VETERINARIAN CARE, DENTAL AND FARRIER SERVICES AND PROPER NUTRITION. THEY ARE REHABILITATED, AND THOSE THAT ARE ABLE, ARE ADOPTED TO PRE-SCREENED, CARING HOMES. OLDER HORSES AND THOSE WE ARE UNABLE TO REHABILITATE BECOME RESIDENT TO LIVE OUT THEIR DAYS WITH DIGNITY AND LOVE. WE HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND AND ADOPT SEVERAL HORSES TO NEW SUITABLE HOMES. THE ORGANIZATION CARES FOR APPROXIMATELY 4 HORSES AT OUR FACILITY WHILE OTHERS ARE IN THE CARE OF FOSTER HOMES UNTIL ROOM BECOMES AVAILABLE.
