Part 3 - Line 4a
IN 2021, WE PROVIDED 3 PASTOR TRAININGS EQUIPPING PASTORS BY STUDYING THE GOSPEL, BIBLE TRANSLATIONS, AND EXPOSITIONAL PREACHING. 130+ PASTORS & CHURCH LEADERS WERE TRAINED, IMPACTING COMMUNITIES ACROSS 3 RURAL REGIONS IN KENYA. WE LAUNCHED A CLEAN WATER INITIATIVE TO HELP FAMILIES OVERCOME ISSUES WITH WATERBORNE ILLNESSES. WE SUPPLIED WATER FILTERS TO 268 FAMILIES IN EAST AFRICA AND TRAINED THEM TO SAFELY HANDLE WATER AND OTHER SANITARY PRACTICES. WE SUPPORTED LOCAL CHURCH LEADERS AS THEY PROVIDED MENTORSHIP TO OVER 1,700 GIRLS. THESE LEADERS TAUGHT THE GIRLS ABOUT DIFFERENT VIRTUES IN THE BIBLE AND GAVE THEM A SPACE TO COME TO BE DISCIPLED. THESE GIRLS WERE ALSO GIVEN FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS, HARD TO COME BY DUE TO SUPPLY AND LACK OF INCOME. WE BROUGHT INTERNS WITH US TO KENYA FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE COVID BEGAN! 3 COLLEGE-AGE INTERNS JOINED US FOR THE SUMMER. THESE INTERNS WERE DISCIPLED BY OUR STAFF, JOINED US FOR PASTOR AND WATER TRAININGS, AND SPENT TIME DIVING DEEP INTO THE WORD OF GOD.
