EACH SUMMER, THE PARKS FOUNDATION OF HENDRICKS COUNTY HOSTS THE SUMMER FUN RUN SERIES, AN ANNUAL NON-COMPETITIVE AND FAMILY-FRIENDLY RUNNING / WALKING TOUR THROUGH 14 DIFFERENT PARKS AND TRAILS THROUGHOUT HENDRICKS COUNTY, INDIANA. THE EVENT WILL HAVE AN IN-PERSON KICK-OFF EVENT AND MID-SERIES CELEBRATION. EACH WEEK PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE EVENT WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT FOR THEM. (CONT ON SCH O)GOALS:1. RAISE $55,700 THROUGH SPONSORSHIP, REGISTRATION, AND INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS.2. ATTRACT 400 INDIVIDUALS TO REGISTER AND ATTEND EVENT.3. GIVE GRANTS TO PARTICIPATING PARKS TO SUPPORT CAPITAL OR PROGRAMMING NEEDS.STRATEGY:CREATE EXCITEMENT ABOUT OUTDOOR SPACES THROUGHOUT HENDRICKS COUNTY BY EXPOSING THE COMMUNITY TO 14 DIFFERENT PARKS AND TRAILS THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER.
