THAILAND MINISTRYOUR PROGRAMS IN THAILAND ARE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH GRANTS TO LIFE IMPACT THAILAND FOUNDATION, BASED IN MAE SOT, THAILAND. THE FOUNDATION WAS ORGANIZED IN ORDER TO PROPERLY FACILITATE OPERATIONS IN THE COUNTRY, IT HAS THE SAME LEGAL AUTHORITY AS THE POLICE TO RESCUE CHILDREN THAT ARE TRAFFICKED FROM BURMA INTO THAILAND, AND IS THE OFFICIAL WATCHTOWER AND MODEL TO INTERVENE ON BEHALF OF EXPLOITED AND TRAFFICKED CHILDREN ALONG THE BORDERS THAT RUN ALONG THE ASEAN HIGHWAY. THE ASEAN HIGHWAY RUNS FROM CHINA DOWN TO SINGAPORE WITH THE TRAFFICKING DESTINATION BEING BANGKOK, THAILAND. THE LI THAILAND FOUNDATION PROVIDES EVERY NEED FOR THE RESCUED CHILDREN IN THEIR SAFE HOMES SINCE 2015 WHEN THE ORGANIZATION WAS OFFICIALLY APPROVED AS A THAILAND GOVERNMENT RECOGNIZED SAFE HOUSE.OUR 17 SAFE HOMES ARE LOCATED ON 41 ACRES. IN 2021, 86 UNDERAGE TRAFFICKING VICTIMS, EXPLOITED CHILDREN, AND ORPHANS WERE HOUSED AND CARED FOR BY US. 10 OF THESE CHILDREN WERE RESCUED IN 2021 ALONE. EVERY NEED OF OUR RESCUED CHILD IS TAKEN CARE OF BY LIFE IMPACT THAILAND FOUNDATION. EACH CHILD HAS HOUSE PARENTS AND LIVES IN A FAMILY-LIKE HYBRID SETTING. FOOD, EDUCATION, CLOTHING, HYGIENE SUPPLIES, AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING ARE ALL PROVIDED BY THE LI THAILAND FOUNDATION. WE ALSO CARE FOR ALL MEDICAL NEEDS AND PROVIDE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES FOR THE CHILDREN, SUCH AS SPORTS AND MUSIC PROGRAMS. WE PREVENTED HUNDREDS OF CHILDREN FROM BEING SOLD, TRAFFICKED, OR PRESSURED INTO A LIFE OF SLAVERY THROUGH OUR PREVENTION PROJECTS AND OUTREACHES, IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND MIGRANT SLUMS, AND VULNERABLE VILLAGES THAT THE TRAFFICKERS TARGET. WE WERE EVEN ACTIVE DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.IN 2021, WE HELD 19 DIFFERENT HUMANITARIAN, EVANGELISTIC, AND PREVENTION OUTREACHES AND REACHED APPROXIMATELY 4,325 PEOPLE AMONG THE INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS ALONG THE BORDERS OF THAILAND AND BURMA, IN SCHOOLS, COMMUNITIES, AND REFUGEE CAMPS. 44,268 LBS OF FOOD WERE DISTRIBUTED.SEE SCHEDULE F FOR DETAILS ABOUT OUR GRANT-MAKING AND MONITORING PROCESS.

SINCE 2020, WE HAVE SET UP ABUSE AND TRAFFICKING PREVENTION PROGRAMS IN FIVE BRAZILIAN COMMUNITIES IN THE AREAS OF RIO DE JANEIRO, CEARA (NORTHEAST), AND THE AMAZON REGION (NORTH). THESE PROGRAMS ARE A SAFE PLACE FOR THE CHILDREN TO GO WHERE THEY CAN GET HELP, TUTORING, FOOD, SUPPLIES, PLAY GAMES, AND LEARN ABOUT JESUS. MORE THAN 400 CHILDREN ARE ENROLLED IN AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS WHERE THEY RECEIVE TUTORING, COUNSELING, AND FOOD, AND ARE INVOLVED IN EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND SPORTS IN ORDER TO PREVENT ABUSE AND EARLY GROOMING INTO A LIFESTYLE OF CRIME OR PROSTITUTION. WE DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO HELP THEIR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY WITH FOOD, EDUCATION, COUNSELING, AND BY SHARING THE GOSPEL WITH THEM. OUR PROFESSIONAL STAFF REGULARLY VISITS MORE THAN 100 FAMILIES IN "FAVELAS" (SLUM COMMUNITIES) AND ARE TRAINED TO RECOGNIZE ANY ABUSE IN THE HOME. THEY WORK WITH PSYCHOLOGISTS AND SOCIAL ASSISTANTS TO CREATE A CHANGE IN THE COMMUNITY AND KEEP THE CHILDREN SAFE.WE ARE LEASING A 3-STORY BUILDING IN RIO DE JANEIRO WHICH IS HOUSING CLASSES FOR 100 CHILDREN AT A TIME DURING THE DAY, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. WE LEASE TWO MORE LOCATIONS IN THE NORTHEAST REGION: ONE TO HOUSE ONE OF OUR PREVENTION PROGRAMS WITH AN AVERAGE OF 75 CHILDREN WHO COME THREE TIMES A WEEK AND OUR OFFICE LOCATION WHERE ALL PREPARATION AND PLANNING TAKES PLACE. ANOTHER PROGRAM LOCATION RECEIVED 50 CHILDREN TWICE PER WEEK. WE ARE ACTIVELY PURSUING TO START MORE PREVENTION PROGRAMS IN BRAZIL.RIO DE JANEIRO DECLARED A "DAY OF THE BATTLE AGAINST THE ABUSE AND SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS" ON MAY 18 THROUGH OUR INITIATIVE WITH CITY OFFICIALS. OUR TEAM OFFICIAL GOT THE MONTH OF MAY DECLARED THE ORANGE MONTH" IN RIO TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT CHILD ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION IN BRAZIL. GENERAL MINISTRYIN 2021, WE CONTINUE WORKING HARD IN ORDER TO REACH, RESCUE, AND RAISE AT-RISK, EXPLOITED, AND TRAFFICKED CHILDREN. OUR U.S. TEAM SERVES OUR LIFE IMPACT LOCATIONS IN THAILAND, BRAZIL, AND MYANMAR BY CONNECTING THEIR NEEDS WITH OUR NETWORK OF PARTNERS AND VOLUNTEERS, BY RAISING SUPPORT AND FACILITATING COMMUNICATION. WE MAKE OUTREACHES POSSIBLE BY PROVIDING OVERALL STRATEGY, CREATING AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS, AND PRODUCING MATERIAL. WE ALSO RALLY AND TRAIN VOLUNTEERS FOR MISSION TRIPS, HUMANITARIAN OUTREACHES, AND DONATION CAMPAIGNS.

MYANMAR/BURMA MINISTRYWE CARE FOR CHILDREN FROM AN INTERNALLY DISPLACED PEOPLE GROUP CLOSE TO THE THAI-MYANMAR BORDER WHO ARE ACTIVELY PERSECUTED, TARGETED, AND EXPLOITED IN MYANMAR. DUE TO THE PERSECUTION, EXPLOITATION, AND WAR-LIKE CONDITIONS, THE CARETAKERS OF THESE TRAFFICKED OR ORPHANED CHILDREN HAD TO MOVE OUR CHILDREN'S HOME TO A REMOTE LOCATION. THE HYGIENIC AND LIVING CONDITIONS ARE PRECARIOUS, AND THE HOUSING IS VERY SIMPLE. WE CONTINUE TO FULLY CARE FOR THESE CHILDREN WITH FOOD, HYGIENE, AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES, AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES. IN ADDITION, WE CONTINUED TO HOLD OUTREACHES AND PROVIDE HUMANITARIAN AID FOR THE IDP'S (INTERNALLY DISPLACED PEOPLE) THAT ARE HIDING IN THE JUNGLES OF BURMA CLOSE TO THE THAI BORDER AND BUILT AN EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR 100 WOMEN AND 60 CHILDREN AND A MEDICAL CLINIC. THE POLITICAL SITUATION REMAINS VERY VOLATILE AND PEOPLE LIVE IN WAR-LIKE CONDITIONS.
