THE ORGANIZATION WAS FOUNDED TO STRENGTHEN TIES BETWEEN WYCLIFFE HALL OXFORD (AN EVANGELICAL, ORTHODOX ANGLICAN THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY OF OXFORD IN THE UNITED KINGDOM) AND AMERICAN FRIENDS. THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY ACTIVITIES ARE: (1) TO SUPPORT WYCLIFFE HALL IN ITS MISSION AS AN INTERNATIONAL CENTER OF EVANGELICAL THEOLOGY WHICH EQUIPS, TRAINS, AND SENDS OUT CHRISTIAN SERVANT LEADERS; AND (2) TO PROMOTE EXCHANGES BETWEEN WYCLIFFE HALL AND AMERICAN CHURCHES AND INDIVIDUAL SUPPORTERS THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, TOURS, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES IN THE UNITED STATES AND OXFORD.

BOTH ENTITIES SHARE A VISION FOR GIVING STUDENTS A DEEPLY SPIRITUAL BIBICALLY GROUNDED THEOLOGY WHICH IS INTEGRATED INTO ALL ASPECTS OF LIFE. FRIENDS OF WYCLIFFE HALL HELPED TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES, TO GROW IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF GOD AND TO BE SPIRITUALLY REFRESHED IN THE CITY OF OXFORD, WHERE MANY NOTABLE CHRISTIAN LEADERS HAVE STUDIED IN THE PAST.
