TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CLOTHING FROM CTKD, STUDENTS MUST LIVE IN METRO DENVER, BE ENROLLED IN GRADES PRESCHOOL-12 OR PURSUING A GED (21 YEARS OLD AND YOUNGER) AND BE CONSIDERED IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE BECAUSE:* THEIR FAMILY IS IN CRISIS OR EXPERIENCING ECONOMIC HARDSHIP (DUE TO COVID-19, JOB LOSS, DISASTER, POVERTY, HOMELESSNESS OR DISPLACEMENT),* THEY ARE REFUGEES OR ASYLUM SEEKERS,* THEY ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FREE OR REDUCED LUNCH (FRL) AT SCHOOL,* THEY ARE IN KINSHIP OR FOSTER CARE, AND/OR* THEY ARE RECEIVING SERVICES FROM A SCHOOL, HUMAN SERVICE AGENCY, SHELTER, HOSPITAL, CLINIC OR PLACE OF WORSHIP.IN THE 11-COUNTY DENVER METRO AREA, MORE THAN 207,000 STUDENTS QUALIFY FOR FRL. OUR HOPE IS THAT WHEN STUDENTS FEEL COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT IN THE CLASSROOM, THEY WILL BE BETTER ABLE TO FOCUS ON THEIR STUDIES AND FIT IN WITH THEIR PEERS.
