IN-KIND SERVICES FOR 2022 MISSION OF MERCY FREE DENTAL CLINIC.
IN NOVEMBER 2022, CFDO HELD ITS FIRST FULL MISSION OF MERCY FREE DENTAL CLINIC AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CONNECTICUT DENTAL SCHOOL SINCE 2019, DUE TO THE PANDEMIC BEGINNING IN MARCH 2020. 859 PATIENTS WERE TREATED WITH ABOUT 800 VOLUNTEERS PARTICIPATING. CFDO STAFF ASSISTED PATIENTS WHO HAVE CONTACTED CFDO WITH EMERGENCY PROBLEMS, BY FINDING DENTISTS IN PRIVATE OFFICES TO HELP THEM AND OFFER PRO BONO TREATMENT. STAFF ALSO ASSISTED PATIENTS IN FINDING A DENTAL HOME.
