TODAY, THE STIGMA ASSOCIATED WITH AUTISM HAS RESULTED IN THE CURRENT 80 - 90% UNEMPLOYMENT RATE AND 70% DEPENDENT LIVING RATE FOR THOSE DIAGNOSED. AUTISM SHIFTS IS CREATING A NEW REALITY FOR OUR AUTISM COMMUNITY THROUGH SPECIALIZED TRAINING/WORKSHOPS/PROGRAMS, ACCESS TO RESOURCES AND CONNECTION OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM AND THEIR PARENTS/CAREGIVERS/FAMILIES. IN ADDITION, WE ARE ALSO A RESOURCE PARTNER FOR BUSINESSES THAT WANT TO HIRE INDIVIDUALS WITH AUTISM OR SERVE THEIR INTERNAL EMPLOYEES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
