THE MISSION OF CROSSROADS FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE PROMISING YOUTH WHO HAVE LIMITED OPTIONS ACCESS TO A QUALITY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION BY NURTURING THEIR ACADEMIC AND PERSONAL GROWTH SO THEY MAY SUCCEED IN COLLEGE AND IN LIFE.

SINCE ITS INCEPTION IN 1988 CROSSROADS FOUNDATION HAS WORKED TO TRANSFORM VULNERABLE URBAN ADOLESCENTS INTO SUCCESSFUL YOUNG SCHOLARS WHO ARE READY FOR COLLEGE. CROSSROADS STUDENTS RECEIVE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ATTEND A QUALITY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL AS WELL AS ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE, CAREER AND COLLEGE GUIDANCE, AND PERSONAL-SOCIAL INTERVENTIONS IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THEIR POTENTIAL. STUDENTS SELECTED INTO THE CROSSROADS PROGRAM ARE AVERAGE TO ABOVE AVERAGE STUDENTS WHO DEMONSTRATE POTENTIAL, BUT WHO WOULD BE AT RISK FOR SCHOOL FAILURE WITHOUT THE SUPPORT SERVICES CROSSROADS PROVIDES. APPROXIMATELY 35 - 40 SCHOLARS ARE ACCEPTED INTO THE PROGRAM EACH YEAR.
