LEICA SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL IS AN INDEPENDENT, NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ALL ASPECTS OF THE LEICA CAMERA, INCLUDING PHOTOGRAPHY, RESEARCH, HISTORY, DOCUMENTATION AND COLLECTING.

PROVIDE REGULAR CONTENT ON THE LHSA WEBSITE AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS, INCLUDING REVIEWS OF NEW EQUIPMENT, EXPERIENCES USING EQUIPMENT, LEARNING CONTENT AND ARCHIVAL CONTENT ABOUT LEICA EQUIPMENT.


PUBLICATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE VIEWFINDER, A QUARTERLY JOURNAL PUBLISHING ARTICLES ABOUT NEW LEICA EQUIPMENT, DOCUMENTARY AND CREATIVE WORKS, HISTORICAL INFORMATION AND ARTICLES ABOUT TECHNIQUE AND WORKFLOW. APPROXIMATELY 2500 MEMBERS RECEIVE THIS PUBLICATION THROUGH BOTH PRINT AND ELECTRONIC DELIVERY.


WE HAVE THREE WORLD-WIDE CONFERENCES EACH YEAR. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE DELIVERY OF THE ANNUAL REPORT, VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND PHOTOGRAPH OPPORTUNITIES WHERE APPROXIMATELY 70-130 MEMBERS ATTENDED. THE SPRING EVENT IS HELD TO PROVIDE WORKSHOP ATTENDANCE OPPORTUNITIES AND PHOTOGRAPH OPPORTUNITIES IN GROUP SETTINGS WHERE APPROXIMATELY 30-50 MEMBERS ATTENDED.
