OPERATES ITS GIRLS' HOMES TO PROVIDE A WHOLESOME HOME LIFE FOR GIRLS AGES 10-18 WHO ARE ABANDONED OR ABUSED, AND TO OFFER RESIDENTS AND OTHER TEENAGERS ASSISTANCE IN PREPARING TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY AS WELL ADJUSTED, RESPONSIBLE ADULTS. THE HOMES ARE LICENSED AS FOR NON-INSTITUTIONAL CHILD CARE AND CAN ACCOMODATE 23 GIRLS AT ONE TIME. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES COUNSELING, TUTORING, AND TRAINING IN LIFE SKILLS TO RESIDENTS AND NONRESIDENTS. DURING 2021, THE AGENCY SERVED 10 GIRLS AS RESIDENTS OF THE HOMES.CHILDREN'S EMERGENCY SHELTER:CONCHO VALLEY HOME FOR GIRLS, INC. OPERATES ITS CHILDREN'S EMERGENCY SHELTER AS A FACILITY TO PROVIDE TWENTY-FOUR HOUR CARE AND SHELTER FOR CHILDREN AGES 0 TO 17 WHO HAVE BEEN ABANDONED OR ABUSED. DURING 2021, 10 CHILDREN WERE SERVED.TRANSITION CENTER:THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE FOR YOUNG ADULTS WITH NO SUPPORT SYSTEM IN TRANSITIONING INTO LIFE OUTSIDE THE HOME.
