THE SOCIETY FOR ADOLESCENT HEALTH & MEDICINE IS A MULTIDISCIPLINARY ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO IMPROVING THE PHYSICAL & PSYCHOSOCIAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF ALL ADOLESCENTS THROUGH ADVOCACY, CLINICAL CARE, HEALTH PROMOTION, HEALTH SERVICE DELIVER, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, & RESEARCH.

JOURNAL OF ADOLESCENT HEALTH (JAH JOURNAL) -- THE SOCIETY'S PUBLICATION THAT KEEPS SUBSCRIBERS UP TO DATE ON LATEST ADOLESCENT MEDICINE NEWS AND WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE FIELD.


RESEARCH INITIATIVES -- SOLICIT, EVALUATE, AWARD, AND MONITOR TEN INNOVATIVE LOCAL PUBLIC HEALTH DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS IN ORDER TO BETTER UNDERSTAND AND ADDRESS THE BARRIERS TO VACCINATION IN THE ADOLESCENT POPULATION, WITH THE ULTIMATE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING IMMUNIZATION RATES IN THIS POPULATION.THE ORGANIZATION UTILIZES AND EXPENDS VARIOUS GRANT FUNDS TO ASSIST IN ACHIEVING ITS MISSION AND GOALS TO IMPROVE THE PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOSOCIAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF ALL ADOLESCENTS THROUGH ADVOCACY, CLINICAL CARE, HEALTH PROMOTION, HEALTH SERVICE DELIVER, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH.
