SQUASHSMARTS PROVIDES FREE OUT-OF-SCHOOL PROGRAMS WITH A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF KEEPING KIDS IN SCHOOL, IN SHAPE, AND ON TRACK FOR GRADUATION. IN 2022, SQUASHSMARTS PROVIDED 291 INSTRUCTIONAL SESSIONS TO 581 YOUTH AND GRADUATES OF PHILADELPHIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS (INCLUDING 100 ALUMNI, 155 CORE PROGRAMS STUDENTS, AND 326 COMMUNITY PROGRAM STUDENTS). SQUASHSMARTS HAD ITS LARGEST GRADUATING CLASS OF TWENTY HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO COLLECTIVELY EARNED $598,771 IN FEDERAL, STATE, INSTITUTIONAL, AND PRIVATE AID (INCLUDING 5 FULL FOUR-YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS WITH NO LOANS; 7 FINANCIAL AID GAPS OF LESS THAN $3,000; AND 94% OF TUITION/ROOM AND BOARD EXPENSES COVERED).
