IN THE PROGRAM YEAR 2021-2022, THE LANCASTER COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD THROUGH PROVIDERS OF SERVICES WITH THE PA CAREERLINK LANCASTER COUNTY ENROLLED 137 ADULTS, 78 DISLOCATED WORKERS, 161 RE-ENTRANTS, 44 OUT-OF-SCHOOL YOUNG ADULTS, 145 TEMPORARY ASSISTANCE FOR NEEDY FAMILY (TANF) YOUTH, 69 YOUTH INTERNSHIPS.86% ADULT PARTICIPANTS WERE EXITED WITH EMPLOYMENT, WITH A MEDIAN WAGE OF $18.00 PER HOUR. FOR DISLOCATED WORKERS, 71% WERE EXITED TO EMPLOYMENT, AND THE MEDIAN WAGE WAS $20.00 PER HOUR. 77% OF THE YOUNG ADULT PROGRAM EXITED TO EMPLOYMENT OR TRAINING WITH A MEDIAN WAGE OF $18.00 PER HOUR. 80% OF THE RE-ENTRANTS WERE EXITED TO EMPLOYMENT WITH A MEDIAN WAGE OF $17.28 PER HOUR.
IN THE PROGRAM YEAR 2021-2022, THE LANCASTER COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH SEVERAL ENTITIES WERE AWARDED A FEDERAL GRANT TO BRING CAREERLINK SERVICES INSIDE THE PRISON AND CARRIED THROUGHOUT THEIR RETURN TO THE COMMUNITY. A TOTAL OF 104 PARTICIPANTS WERE SERVED, 39 WERE PLACED IN EMPLOYMENT WITH A MEDIAN WAGE OF $15.92 PER HOUR.
