PROVIDED SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES VIA DAY PROGRAMS, VIRTUAL VISITS, HOME, AND COMMUNITY IN SCHUYLKILL, NORTHUMBERLAND, LEBANON, AND LUZERNE COUNTIES. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE EARLY INTERVENTION, ADULT TRAINING, PRE-VOCATIONAL, TRANSITIONAL WORK, OLDER ADULT, HOME & COMMUNITY HABILITATION, AND ADULT SOCIALIZATION. DURING THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR, THE AGENCY SERVED APPROXIMATELY 300 INDIVIDUALS IDENTIFIED AND FUNDED BY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. AVENUES ALSO SPONSORS AN EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGN WHEREBY THE GENERAL PUBLIC WILL BE APPRAISED OF THE ABILITIES AND INTERESTS OF THE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS, AND PROVIDES A CLEARING HOUSE OF INFORMATION WHICH IS OF GREAT VALUE AND INTEREST TO THEIR CONSUMERS, THEIR PARENTS, FAMILIES AND FRIENDS.
