HOMECARE: TO PROVIDE AND ASSURE EQUAL AND TIMELY ACCESS TO A COMPREHENSIVE ARRAY OF CLIENT-DIRECTED QUALITY HOME HEALTH CARE. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE VISITS FROM REGISTERED NURSES, REHABILITATIVE THERAPISTS, SOCIAL WORKERS, HOME HEALTH AIDES AND REGISTERED NUTRITIONISTS. THESE SERVICES INCLUDED 9,118 ADMISSIONS, 147,481 HOME VISITS AND $135,493 OF FREE CARE.
VISITING HOSPICE: THE HOSPICE PROGRAM PROVIDED HEALTHCARE AND COMFORT FOR 424 TERMINALLY ILL PATIENTS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.
RESIDENTAL HOSPICE - SUSSMAN HOUSE: THE SUSSMAN HOUSE IS A 7 BED HOSPICE FACILITY. THIS HOUSE ENHANCES THE VISITING HOSPICE PROGRAM BY GIVING PATIENTS A PLACE TO GO FOR GENERAL INPATIENT CARE WHICH IS PART OF OUR CONTINUUM OF CARE. PCH GRANT: NEWBORNS AND MOTHERS GOT A HEALTHY START WITH HOME NURSING VISITS OFFERED AT NO CHARGE THROUGH A HEALTH PROMOTION GRANT FROM THE DIVISION OF FAMILY HEALTH OF THE STATE OF MAINE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES. SERVICES INCLUDED 436 ADMISSIONS AND 1,785 HOME VISITS. COMMUNITY HEALTH: OUR COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSES PROVIDE EDUCATION, FLU SHOTS, COVID SHOTS, FOOT CARE AND BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENINGS THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN MAINE.
