THE BUFFALO AND ERIE COUNTY BOTANICAL GARDENS IS A LIVING MUSEUM, NATIONAL HISTORIC SITE, EDUCATION CENTER AND TOURIST DESTINATION THAT GENERATES 94% OF ITS ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET THROUGH ADMISSION, MEMBERSHIP, SPECIAL EVENTS AND CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS. THE SOCIETY METICULOUSLY CARES FOR APPROXIMATELY 43,800 PLANTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, PROVIDES ENRICHING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND ENGAGING EXHIBITS THAT INSPIRE CURIOUSITY AND CONNECT ITS VISITORS WITH THE NATURAL WORLD. DAILY VISITORS ENJOY AN UPLIFTING, FULL SENSORY EXPERIENCE, STUNNING VICTORIAN ARCHITECTURE AND INDOOR AND OUTDOOR GARDEN SANCTUARIES.
