ADVANTAGE TESTING FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO 1) HELP STUDENTS UNDERREPRESENTED IN THEIR CHOSEN FIELDS TO PURSUE THEIR ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL AMBITIONS THROUGH INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS AND PARTNERSHIPS, ESPECIALLY WITH UNIVERSITIES AND 2) PROMOTE NEW WAYS OF THINKING ABOUT ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION.

TRIALS (THE TRAINING AND RECRUITMENT INITIATIVE FOR ADMISSION TO LEADING LAW SCHOOLS) IS A FULLY SUBSIDIZED SUMMER STUDY PROGRAM FOR ASPIRING LAW STUDENTS WHO HAVE OVERCOME ADVERSITY AND WHOSE SOCIOECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS ARE CURRENTLY UNDERREPRESENTED IN THE NATION'S LEADING LAW SCHOOLS. HARVARD LAW SCHOOL AND THE NYU SCHOOL OF LAW PARTNER WITH THE ADVANTAGE TESTING FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT THE PROGRAM. STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATE DEVELOP THE SKILLS AND CREDENTIALS THEY NEED TO EARN ADMISSION TO LAW SCHOOL. AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PROGRAM, STUDENTS TAKE A DIAGNOSTIC LSAT (THE STANDARDIZED ADMISSION EXAM FOR LAW SCHOOL). THE MEDIAN STARTING LSAT SCORE FOR OUR STUDENTS WAS AT THE 44TH PERCENTILE. TO DATE, THE MEDIAN TEST SCORE INCREASE FOR THOSE TRIALS STUDENTS WHO HAVE TAKEN THE OFFICIAL LSAT IS MORE THAN 40 PERCENTILE POINTS. TRIALS STUDENTS HAVE EARNED ADMISSION TO ALL OF THE TOP 10 LAW SCHOOLS IN THE NATION INCLUDING HARVARD, YALE, NYU, STANFORD, COLUMBIA, AND THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO.
THE MATH PRIZE FOR GIRLS, THE LARGEST MATH PRIZE FOR GIRLS IN THE WORLD, IS AN ANNUAL NATIONWIDE MATH COMPETITION CREATED TO 1) PROMOTE GENDER EQUALITY IN MATHEMATICS BY RECOGNIZING TALENTED, HIGH-PERFORMING FEMALE STUDENTS, AND 2) UNDERSCORE THE IMPORTANCE OF MATHEMATICS TO OUR NATION'S FUTURE.
THE ADVANTAGE TESTING FOUNDATION SUPPORTS LEDA (LEADERSHIP ENTERPRISE FOR A DIVERSE AMERICA), A PARTNERSHIP WITH PRINCETON UNIVERSITY COMPRISING A RIGOROUS SUMMER COLLEGE PREPARATORY PROGRAM TO INSTILL LEADERSHIP SKILLS IN TALENTED STUDENTS OF MODEST MEANS FROM PREDOMINANTLY PUBLIC SCHOOLS NATIONWIDE. THE AT FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDES PRO BONO CLASSROOM SAT AND ACT PREPARATION TUTORING DURING THIS SUMMER PROGRAM.
THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS PREP FOR PREP, A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR NEW YORK CITY STUDENTS OF UNDERREPRESENTED MINORITY BACKGROUNDS. IN ADDITION TO FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR PREP FOR PREP, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES PRO BONO CLASSROOM ACT AND SAT PREPARATION FOR SELECT PREP FOR PREP JUNIORS DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR.
