THE MISSION OF THE JEWISH RESOURCE CENTER OF THE POCONOS IS TO CULTIVATE A THRIVING JUDAISM THROUGH MULTIFACETED PROGRAMS THAT ADVANCE KNOWLEDGE AND FOSTER IDENTITY AND MEANINGFUL CONNECTIONS FOR ALL. THESE PROGRAMS KNOWN AS THE JEWISH ENRICHMENT DIVISION INCLUDE CULTURAL EVENTS, MANIFOLD EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES, AND POSITIVE SOCIAL AND RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCES FOR ALL AGES.
THE MISSION OF THE JEWISH RESOURCE CENTER'S 55+ DIVISION IS TO BETTER THE LIVES OF THE ELDERLY IN NORTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA BY ADVOCATING RESPONSIBLE AND MEANINGFUL RETIREMENT, ENSURING SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT, PROMOTING HEALTHY AGING, ORGANIZING SUPPORT GROUPS, ADVISING ON CARE MANAGEMENT AND COLLABORATING WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS TO PROCURE ALL RELEVANT SERVICES.
