SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: MONETARY INVESTMENT FOR LACTATION CONSULTANT CERTIFICATION (MILCC) ESTABLISHES EMERGING LEADERS IN LACTATION SCHOLARSHIP TO PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SEEKING INTERNATIONAL BOARD CERTIFIED LACTATION CONSULTANT (IBCLC ) CERTIFICATION, AND CURRENT IBCLCS APPLYING FOR RECERTIFICATION BY EXAM OR CERPS. THE IBLCE EXAM IS ADMINISTERED BY THE INTERNATIONAL BOARD OF LACTATION CONSULTANT EXAMINERS (IBLCE ), IN MULTIPLE COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD, AND IN A VARIETY OF LANGUAGES.THE NUMBER OF CANDIDATES SUPPORTED EACH YEAR DEPENDS ON THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, WHICH COME FROM DONATIONS AND FUNDRAISING.
