BRIDGES OF HOPE EXISTS TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST AND DISCIPLE LIBERIANS TO WORSHIP AND GLORIFY GOD, EMPOWERING THEM TO LIVE CHRIST- CENTERED LIVES AND TO ACHIEVE FOR THEMSELVES A REASONABLE LIVING. WE WILL DO THIS THROUGH A BIBLE-TEACHING CHURCH, QUALITY EDUCATION, QUALITY HEALTHCARE, INSTRUCTION IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND AGRICULTURE. THE PURPOSE OF THESE INITIATIVES IS TO PROMOTE A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW EVIDENCED BY A LIFESTYLE OF CHARACTER, LEADERSHIP, STEWARDSHIP, SERVICE, AND JOYFUL WORSHIP.

BRIDGES OF HOPE CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE EFFORTS OF HOPE VILLAGE IN RURAL LIBERIA WITH EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. THE SCHOOL CONTINUES TO GRADUATE APPROXIMATELY 12-16 STUDENTS PER YEAR. THESE STUDENTS PASS THE WEST AFRICAN ASSOCIATION OF STATES (HIGH SCHOOL) EQUIVALENCY EXAM. FOR 2023, WE CONTINUED TO SUPPORT THE SCHOOL VIA SALARIES TO TEACHERS, AND REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SCHOOL AND TEACHER HOMES. IN 2023, BRIDGES OF HOPE COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY TOILETS FOR STUDENTS AT HOPE INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN ACADEMY.
BRIDGES OF HOPE CONTINUES TO PLAN PROVISION OF A CHRIST-CENTERED HEALTHCARE FOR HOPE VILLAGE AND NEIGHBORING VILLAGES. THE COMMITTEE FORMED IS FOCUSED ON WHAT WILL BE REQUIRED TO OPEN A CLINIC. FUNDRAISING FOR THIS PURPOSE IS UNDERWAY BUT PROVES TO BE SLOW GOING AS THE MAJORITY OF OUR DONORS ARE COMMITTED TO EDUCATING CHILDREN. BRIDGES OF HOPE DOES SUPPORT HOPE VILLAGE IN RURAL LIBERIA WITH MEDICAL MISSION TRIPS. THE NEXT TRIP WILL BE IN JANUARY OF 2024. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT 18 TO 20 MEDICALLY SKILLED VOLUNTEERS WILL PARTICIPATE.
