REALIZING THAT PEOPLE CAN BE IMPOVERISHED PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY, SPIRTUALLY, SOCIALLY AND FINANCIALLY. THE COVENANT SOUP KITCHEN PROVIDES FOOD AND ACCESS TO BASIC SERVICES IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF CARE, LOVE, SUPPORT AND SAFETY TO THOSE INDIVIDUALLY AND FAMILIES FROM THE GREATER WINDHAM COMMUNITY WHO COME THROUGH OUR DOORS. WE RELY ON THE GENEROSITY OF THE COMMUNITY AND ITS FAITH TO HELP CARRY OUT THIS MISSION.

COVENANT SOUP KITCHEN SERVED 911,836 MEALS THROUGH THE COMBINED SERVICES OF THE SOUP KITCHEN, FOOD PANTRY AND SUPPLEMENTAL MEALS PROGRAM DURING FY 2020-21. BREAKFAST AND LUNCH ARE SERVED DAILY AND DINNERS ARE PROVIDED ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY EVENINGS. THE COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY COOPERATIVE IS OPEN EVERY DAY AND IS BEING RELOCATED TO A LARGER, ACCESSIBLE SPACE TO MEET THE DEMAND FOR SERVICES SINCE THE PANDEMIC. REQUESTS FOR HOMEBOUND DELIVERY SERVICES HAVE CONTINUED TO INCREASE.
