OUR MISSION IS: "TO SUPPORT AND ADVANCE THE MISSION OF CENTRAL PENINSULA HOSPITAL THROUGH PHILANTHROPY."

THE FOUNDATION SPONSORS AND HOLDS FUNDS FOR SERENITY HOUSE, A CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY UNIT OF CENTRAL PENINSULA HOSPITAL WHICH IS SUPPORTED THROUGH PREVENTION GRANTS, AND CLIENT RESOURCE FUNDS. PREVENTION ACTIVITIES INCLUDE COMMUNITY CANVASSING AND ASSESSMENT, A PODCAST PROGRAM, AND AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS. CLIENT RESOURCES ARE USED TO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION, THERAPEUTIC MATERIALS, AND PERSONAL ITEMS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE STAY OF PATIENTS MORE COMFORTABLE AS THEY RECEIVE CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY TREATMENT.


OTHER PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE DIRECT ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS AND PROGRAMS SUCH AS CANCER CARE, PATIENT PRESCRIPTIONS, PATIENT TRANSPORTATION, CARDIAC REHABILITATION, EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE, ANIMAL ASSISTANCE, THE DR. ISAAK SCHOLARSHIP AWARD, INFANT CLOTHING DONATIONS TO THE SARAH'S CLOSET PROGRAM, AND MORE.


THE FOUNDATION SPONSORS, AND HOLDS FUNDS FOR THE INTERNAL MEDICINE RESIDENCY PROGRAM. THIS IS FUNDED BY PREMERA BLUE CROSS TO RECRUIT INTERNISTS TO PRACTICE IN RURAL AREAS OF THE STATE.


THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED FUNDING TO HERITAGE PLACE, A LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY, FOR ACTIVITY SUPPLIES. THE ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF ART THERAPY/CLASSES, FITNESS (GAMES WITH NOODLES/BALLS), COOKING CLASSES, GAMES (BRAIN/CARDS, DICE), NATURE (GARDENING/WALK N ROLLS), AND BUS RIDES FOR LOCAL SIGHT SEEING. THESE RESIDENTS ALSO PARTICIPATE IN COMMUNITY OUTREACH (PARADES, OPERATION CHRISTMAS, TO LIST A FEW). EDUCATIONAL SPEAKERS IN PERSON OR ON BIG SCREEN TV.
