FAMILY MEDICAL LODGING PROGRAM - PROVIDE OVERNIGHT LODGING IN 13 APARTMENTS FOR UP TO A 2 WEEK STAY FOR OUT-OF-TOWN NEEDY FAMILIES OF MEDICAL PATIENTS BASED ON REFERRALS FROM 14 AREA HOSPITALS. ALSO PROVIDE 1 DAY ROOM FOR REST AND SHOWERS FOR GUESTS ON THE WAITING LIST. 2022 STATISTICS: HOUSED A TOTAL OF 1,010 INDIVIDUALS FROM 565 FAMILY UNITS IN OVERNIGHT ROOMS. 1,675 HOURS OF SERVICE WERE PROVIDED BY 851 VOLUNTEERS PROVIDING LODGING, MEALS AND PRAYER SUPPORT.
LODGINGLY PROGRAM - THE HOTEL EXTENSION PROGRAM, OPERATING DURING 2016-2019, SERVED AS THE PILOT PROGRAM FOR LODGINGLY. THE LODGINGLY PROGRAM WAS DEVELOPED IN 2020-21 AND EXISTS TO PROVIDE DISCOUNTED HOTEL LODGING FOR FAMILIES WHO TRAVEL FOR MEDICAL CARE.
