THE RED RIVER CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER (RRCAC) FACILITATES A MULTIDISCIPLINARY RESPONSE TO CHILD MALTREATMENT BY COORDINATING EFFECTIVE SERVICES INCLUDING FORENSIC INTERVIEWING, MEDICAL VICTIM ADVOCACY, MENTAL HEALTH, LAW ENFORCEMENT AND PROSECUTION. IN 2021, THE RRCAC PROVIDED SERVICES TO 749 CHILD VICTIMS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE RRCAC SUPPORTS THE PROFESSIONALS THAT ARE MEMBERS OF THE MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM THROUGH EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND PEER REVIEW.
