HORIZON PROVIDED EMPOWERMENT TO NEARLY 200 CHILDREN AND 15 FAMILIES THROUGH OUR PROGRAM FRAMEWORK IN HONDURAS, GUATEMALA AND KENYA. THIS INCLUDED 24/7 CARE IN A REAL FAMILY SETTING, ALL PHYSICAL NEEDS WERE MET, FULL SCOPE OF EDUCATIONAL INPUTS FROM PRIMARY SCHOOL, THROUGH BOARDING AT HIGH SCHOOL, AND ACADEMIC AND OR TECHNICAL TRAINING SCHOOLS THROUGH OUR INHERITANCE PROGRAM. IN ADDITION, WE LAUNCHED LARGE-SCALE, IN-COUNTRY BUSINESSES TO HELP GENERATION OPERATIONAL SUSTAINABILITY, SUCH AS A 23-CARE PLANTAIN FARM IN GUATEMALA THAT LED TO THE HARVEST OF OVER 800,000 PLANTAINS.
